Welcome to Jamaica 's longest running and most anticipated road race - the ritual every last Sunday of January since 1983.
January 31, 2010 we will host the 27th Annual High Mountain Coffee 10K Road Race along with the 5K and 3.2K Corporate Walk. After a year’s absence the highly anticipated event will be back in full force in Williamsfield Manchester. The 10K Race takes seasoned runners on a “magical high” 1,200ft above sea level where they experience some of Jamaica’s freshest air and pristine beauty. This is a race of strength, stamina and endurance.
Olympic Gold Medal Winner and World Record holder Nesta Carter O.D. will be in Williamsfield to start the 5k and 10k races at 3:30pm and 2:30 pm respectively. As a son of Manchester and former student of Manchester High School Nesta Carter is anticipating his involvement as an official and not a runner.
2nd 3.2K Corporate Walk will give corporate Jamaica a chance to contribute to two of the company’s charities, namely; Hanbury and Windsor Lodge Childrens’ homes. Many company teams from all over the island are expected to participate.
